The premiere location for all of your Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) needs! Serving the Greater Tacoma Area (located in Lakewood/Parkland).

We use a single system derived from medieval historical manuals to teach the fundamentals, principles, art, and science of HEMA, through study, research, practice, and application. This ancient self-defense fencing system is transferable to any weapon, including hand-to-hand, dagger, armored fighting, and horsemanship.

        This is not a LARP, SCA, or Boffing school, but the skills learned here will transfer to those pursuits.

The Seven Swords Academy holds mostly evening classes, Monday through Thursday, and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to Noon. Steele Hall is currently closed Friday and Sunday. We are also open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for lunch time practice, 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
